Race begins at 9:00 a.m.

Check-in is open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

DOGS MUST REMAIN LEASHED AT ALL TIMES

The following items are prohibited:

Aggressive dogs or dogs who may become aggressive around other dogs or children.

Weapons (guns, knives, etc.)

Alcoholic beverages

Illegal drugs

Please note that there will not be any on-site storage, so please leave any items you do not wish to keep on your possession in your vehicle or at home.

Trained and certified medical and veterinary staff will be on-site.

While hydation stations will be available along the route, you may bring a bottle of water/sports drink with you. Camelbacks are allowed as long as they are only filled with water or a sports drink.

NO DOG WILL BE ADMITTED WITHOUT A CURRENT SHOT RECORD!!
Prior to Check-In

Be sure that you have fully registered online to speed up the check-in process on the day of the race. If you have not yet registered, click here.

Ensure your pets' vaccinations are up-to-date.

Checking In
-
Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m. at the Texas Tech University Department of Kinesiology and Sport Management parking lot.

Parking is available in the C11 lot, as shown in the map on the right.

Bring with you the following to the check-in booth:

Vaccination records for each dog you plan to bring with you.

Some form of official ID to verify your registration.

A reciept of your registration (just in case there are any issues that arise regarding your registration).

Please notify the volunteers at check-in if you or your dogs will require special attention.

During the Race

The race begins at 9:00 a.m.

There will be four hydration stations along the route.
-
Hydration stations will also have bowls of water for your dogs so they can stay hydrated as well.

You can walk, run or both!
-
If you are late to the start, check-in will be open until 10:00 a.m. so as soon as you check-in, you can take off from the start line!

The route will be marked with signage so you do not have to worry about going off-course.

Trained medical and veterinary staff will be on-site to provide aid to any person or dog who seeks aid.
